what i do is i always go behind the blocks 3 events prior to mine with everything i need. i completely zone out and just stretch for a while and then i start thinking of how im going to swim my event and reach my goal time. i sometimes have my ipod with me. before your heat i always jump up and down and get my heart race going. dont be nervous! just give it your all
